How To Setup HP Officejet 2622 ?

  

To set up the hardware for your HP Officejet 2622 printer, unpack and prepare the in-box supplies.

• Open the box and remove the setup poster user guide, and other reference materials.

• Remove the printer cord and USB cable

• Remove the printer from the box.

• Remove all plastics and blue tape from around the printer.

• Open the output tray and the ink cartridges access the door.

• Inside the ink cartridge access area, remove all tape and packing materials.

• Now connect the power cord to the printer and press the power button to turn on the printer.

• Now connect the cartridges to the printer.

• Now printer recognizes the setup cartridges and prepares the printer with the new ink.

• Lift the input tray to raise it to its locked position.

• Slide the paper width guide to its outermost position, and load the paper.

Now the hardware setup is complete, it’s time to install the software and drivers.

Before going ahead to we will know how to install the driver for the HP Officejet 2622 printer.

And before downloading the driver we have to know which windows we have and are based on 32 bit or 64 bit.

And you can check this by :

• Right click on my computer icon and select properties, there you can see your windows edition.

• Look to see if your system type is either a 32-bit operating system or a 64-bit operating system.

Now we download the drivers according to our operating system in the following steps:

1. Go through the website 123.hp.com.

2. Search for your model i.e. hp Officejet 2622.

3. Now select your model, click on the download button and download the files.

4. When the download gets complete, click on the driver files and run the file.

5. It will start extracting the file.

6. Now click to continue.

7. Click on accept a box for accepting the terms and conditions and click Next.

8. Now on the connection option select manual set up, and click on Next.

9. Now the setup wizard will prompt you to connect the USB cable, then click on Next.

10. You connect the USB cable now or do it later, then click on finish.

Now you have successfully installed your HP Officejet 2622 printer.
